Chinese stocks and Tech Stocks

This week tended to end up great for most part considering the volatility in the markets. Most of the top tier and popular chinese stocks did really well, SOHU, BIDU, SNDA, CTRP, CMED, SINA and some others. Some of the other Tech names did really well, YHOO, GOOG, MSFT. I have been holding yahoo for a few years now and bought more recently since it own a large piece of Alibaba, which is getting ready to be listed in Hong Kong. They are a fast growing B2B site in China. http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/071027/china_alibaba_ipo.html?.v=7 . Other big names are getting ready to post earnings in the next few weeks, should go great. Names such as SOHU, CTRP, CMED. Bidu posted great earnings and should be looking good into next year. Google proved to be on a tear again and Yahoo could be gaining traction finally. Other stocks i am looking at are LDK, China Solar company, SSTR, New gaming software company, LFT, recently IPO from China, financial software. There are plenty more great ones also.
